The sun finally rises on the land we call home. It took a while - but it did happen just after we had passed Uluru & were over Coober Pedy on the SA & NT boarder.

Land. Clear immigration & customs. Find the rental car. Have a fund depleting breakfast at the airport waiting for same rental car. Drive home. Shower. Pick up my returned thermomix. Out for dinner.

It's terribly lovely to have someone cook your first dinner after you get home after a long night in the sky. It's also great to be able to not have to pick food off a menu or from a Bain Maree.

The temperature difference is noticeable when the sun starts to set. And our own bed & pillows have never felt so luxurious.

The challenge has begun to sort, sift & start work on #thedatewechose photobook. 4876 photos onto 100 A3 pgs? I may need to upsize....
