More dancing

Today Ruby went for a second audition at Northern Ballet, having got through the preliminary round a couple of weeks ago.
It lasted an hour and lots of very talented girls and boys were put through their paces.
Wont know the result for a couple of weeks but competion for a place is very strong.
It's the first time she has been old enough to apply and so if she isn't successful this time there is always next year when she will have more experience.
I took this shot outside of the building while we were waiting.
It's one half of a pair of identical sculptures that are set in rock.
I've often passed them in a car but never been as near to them before. Out of the shots I took I liked this profile the best but hope to return to photograph them again to show more of their shape and form.
