Not Quite Finished

It needs a skirting board but that's coming on Wednesday I believe.  It looks, to my mind, much, much better.

We started in the stair today - it was very, very apricot.  And now it's 80% white.  We couldn't finish because we ran out of paint.  And because it's Germany, you can't nip to our equivalent of B&Q (Hornbach) and buy some.

I've spotted a couple of book cases in a local second-hand shop that I'll go back to see.  They have the very German customer-friendly opening hours of  1pm to 5pm on Wednesday & Saturdays.  And if they're as good as I hope and not eye-wateringly expensive, I'll have them.  I'm going to need furniture for my room otherwise my desk and two chests of drawers are going to look awful lonely.
