Not far from the wobbly hippo on the top shelf of the living room bookcase lives this slightly oddly proportioned elephant. He and wobbly hippo actually came from a trip to Zimbabwe back in 2000. The object in the background is not another example of African artwork but a handcrafted piece from rural Norfolk made by my niece a few years back.
