Look out, I think the swans have spotted us

A wet blustery day for the first day after the clocks were put forward. Isn't it typically always like this when the clocks are put forward?

This meant we were largely confined to barracks for most of the day. However, it was quite a productive day - made a lamb curry and did the grocery shopping on line and even had time to go through my wardrobe and weed out several shirts and trousers that were past their best. (A little like their owner).

Eventually, the rain stopped the sun shone so out we went for a walk - only for the next band of heavy showers to come along and batter us. Nevermind, we were well protected by waterproof trousers we'd bought last time we were in the Lakes. They did a good job repelling the rain but remaining comfortable and warm, not like the overtrousers we've got as well.

On the way round Mote Park we were spotted by this patrol of giant swans. It turned out that they had broken free of their moorings out on the lake and drifted in to the shore.
