Hidden meaning

First of two consecutive pics on Wells.
I've been to, and walked past, Sadler's Wells dance theatre countless times, but never really thought about its name or meaning behind it, until reading Secret London (see May 23). It was established by a Dick Sadler and an ancient well was discovered on site. So there you go...
