everything has to be somewhere...

In this case it's these, no longer proudly towering over the radiator but instead huddling together on a shelf behind the sofa and beneath the bed where they keep safe a few years' worth of New Scientist, some excess books which won't fit in the more traditional areas of book-storage (such as on the bookself, on the ledge under the window, down the back of the headboard, on top of the wardrobe and generally anywhere else) and everything else which was left over after we filled a larger number of slightly bigger boxes which mostly live in the cupboard which used to be full of water tank until we had the heating done. There are a couple of boxes storing interesting and vaguely surprising things such as the speaker cables which I thought I had lost, an S-video cable which I dragged out as well in order to slightly increase the size of picture available when watching downloaded telly and the two Ikea cutlery-holding metal cylindrical things which I used to keep pens and audio connectors relatively safe and which I was vaguely looking for the other day in case they had any spare pencil graphites in. They didn't.
