Swan

As the sun was shining this morning I decided to take a look and see if our local pair of swans had laid any eggs.

I have been watching them build their nest for a while now, and as luck would have it there she was sitting on her nest.

You can clearly see one of the eggs, as it is not completely tucked underneath her.

I took several photo’s and was just about to leave when the female swan got up changed her position and that’s when  I saw that she has actually laid four eggs, shame I had put my camera away by the time I had my camera back out she had settled down again.

Never mind there is always another day.
