Saint-Paul-de-Vence

The hill village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence is not simply extraordinary beautiful, it is also the cradle of modern art. Chagall, Fernand Léger, Braque, even Picasso came here for inspiration. Today, this medieval, circular village is filled with stunning art galleries that display some fantastic work of arts. Movie stars, writers were also inspired by an extraordinary scenery where you can not only see the Big Blue but snow-capped mountain ranges at the same time among flowers, lemon and orange trees. The Maeght Foundation displays more forms of modern art by Miró, Calder or Giacometti. All this on a small environment! What a delight for art lovers!
