Belfast Battering

The streak has been ended!  After seeing three wins out of three games, the Cardiff Devils got battered by the Belfast Giants tonight in the playoffs.  The Devils were one nil down from the first leg, and had the puck in the Belfast goal within minutes but it was ruled out for a high stick.  And that was it really, Belfast got two quick goals, Cardiff came back, Belfast scored and scored again.  The final score was 7-3 to Belfast and the season was over.  Gutted!

Thoroughly enjoyed my ice hockey experience though and I purchased a season ticket for next season tonight, so I shall be back and the future looks bright.
