New Kit Monday

Mimi's new catcher and blocker were christened tonight at training.  A different style of catcher from that she had been using presented a challenge but as the session progressed she seemed to be getting more accustomed to the new thumb position.

She played well working hard as  she always does, a huge smile on her face when she comes off the ice.  Her coach is gradually building up the power in the shots that she is facing and she seems to be coping admirably but most of all she is loving her hockey and at the end of the day that is all that really matters

As we arrived at the arena we bumped into Matt Heywood and Kyle Jones of Braehead Clan, Kyle has been the most successful net minder in the league with 9 shut outs this season, Mimi is only 8 behind!!!
