Almost tame

I almost missed seeing three of these fellas as I was driving into the lane at home today, they sure blend in to their surroundings. I took a bunch of shots but grasses and twigs everywhere made most of them unusable. They were on the other side of a wire fence and I actually got within 10 feet of them and still they never spooked.
I spooked however when I dropped my camera and the lens retraction wotsit broke. Decisions, decisions on whether to replace it or use the others I have.

Ah well. Until tomorrow....
