Crocs

Taken on route from Airlie to Mission beach, our last long drive 500km. An attractive route, still on the Bruce highway. Land flat for miles around covered mostly by sugar cane plantations. Very green everywhere.
Not a lot of traffic on the roads and you can travel miles without seeing any sign of life. Each spot of water is clearly marked though, usually something Creek.
Quite dangerous in the waters here as you can see. The other big danger is the jellyfish. One especially pleasant variety is the Irukandji, symptoms of a sting are severe pain, muscle constrictions and breathing difficulties.

Can't understand why Liz prefers the swimming pool.
