Ruff

Another beautiful migrant visitor, this elegant Ruff stood in this pose for me, although he was being battered by a very strong, but pleasant breeze. He or she must be looking for a mate as there seems to be a lot of action down at my Wadi with Lapwing's, Mynas and Silverbills, all either with mates, building nests or defending nests. The Lapwing's are incredibly aggressive to anyone who so much as looks in their direction, even though they just have a scrape, out in the most unsuitable places!
