For the past few months I’ve been trying to emulate Journal1961, even down to the extent of copying his kit. Yongnuo YN560 flash, check. Nikkor 105mm macro, err … that’s a bit rich for me. How about this Tokina 100mm macro instead? Half the price, and fabulous service from the ever-dangerous MBP Photographic as usual. First impressions are very favourable, but little time to play with it yet due to ongoing D.I.Y. hell.
