Snowy St Sunday Crag

Brrrr.

Last night was very windy, with JJ waking up in the middle of it, although C slept on.

Took them over Kirkstone pass and down the struggle into Ambleside, then round Windermere to Wray Castle.

There, they had a ball.

Tried to cross Windermere via the ferry but it was closed.

So back the way we came, then off to Booths for some food shopping.

Back to Patterdale via Troutbeck. Past the depressing site of the burnt Queens Head. Hopefully it will be open by the next time we get to here, and if it's without the kids we'll be able to enjoy it properly. Alongside the Drunken Duck.

As we got back to Patterdale the weather turned, and we've had a fair bit of snow.

This is a shot of St Sunday Crag, that can be seen from outside of the chalet as albeit with a big lens.
