C gets a pierage

Yesterday and today followed the same pattern.
Run along the front. In the wind.
Sandwiches followed by a spot of flaneuring.
And we are trying to fill up a Cafe Nero card just to get a free cup of coffee. That might be quite an expensive free cup of coffee.

Today's wind was even windier than yesterday's. The outward run was a LOT easier than the inward run.
And, this afternoon, it was positively Saharan with sand being blown along the promenade. Which was puzzling because Brighton doesn't have sand. The mystery was resolved when we saw that the volleyball court was being emptied and sent blowing towards Saltdean.

And, in my absence, the boys done good. They scraped an 8-0 win against the Maths and Engineering team. they clearly missed me.
