There's a Reason

Here's an example of why dogs aren't allowed on the trails in Glacier Park. The smaller dogs go right for the bloody bear; leaving the human in peril because, of course, we have to rescue the nosy dog before it becomes lunch.
SiBonz's new friend is a 2-3-year-old that was killed by a car. The 450 lb. bear demolished the car and himself. The mom-bear was probably 700-800 lbs. Note the 5-inch claws. I missed the perfect blip when she stuck her nose up his exhaust pipe to say, "How do you do!"
