BRIAN ROBINSON

BFI Flare Senior Festival Programmer Brian Robinson has been a familiar face at the 17 festivals I've attended & I suspect his involvement goes back further than that. Next year will be the 30th LGBT festival and I have to say, it is an annual highlight which never fails to deliver.
Brian leads the team of programmers who select an eclectic mix of the best queer cinema going. Two of the most memorable this year were The Colour Purple (a long overdue viewing) and Tab Hunter Confidential, with the added surprise of the 50's film idol Tab Hunter taking part in a Q&A after the screening.
Huge thanks to Brian and everyone involved in this year's festival - you did a magnificent job.
