So as our heroine climbed onto Hope's back, she was very scared and holding tightly, Hope gently took off. Taking to the sky was effortless, but Pearl kept her eyes tightly closed. The cool breeze tickled her eyes and nose and she carefully opened her eyes.

Hope smiled quietly as she felt Pearl's heartbeat quieten down.
"It's awesome! " said Pearl.
For the first time she saw the sun slowly crawling over the horizon;felt the warmth of the sun's rays on her face. She smiled. It felt like she could see forever and beyond.
