Whodunnit?

We’re still not sure
how long the body’s been there
or whether we’re looking at
a suicide or murder.

Or what it’s doing
in a children’s play area.

A woman and her toddler
found it. They went there
after dropping the older child
off at school.

The woman’s a bit frazzled.
She said they’d had
a disturbed night
and getting involved
in this is the last straw.

There are some houses opposite.
We’ll do a door to door
and see what anyone there
has to say
and what they saw.

Forensics are on their way.
