April (fooling Us) Day

Although the Snow/ice piles are too treacherous to get me out to the pussy willow trees to cut branches, I was pleased to see the furry buds are out now. You can see them shining white;  also shining white all over the picture are the snow flakes. April has come in like a lamb... a very cold, sparkly one. Blue sky over there to the West...
Garden report: the red oak still holds @ 50% of its leaves. the ornamental grasses are bowed down from the weight of the snow.


Now Spring is official as of pre-dawn this morning when our garage door got SKUNKED! The pungent fragrance of newly arrived skunks... whew!!!
