Port of Ness Beach

Took a few minutes to have a much needed walk on the beach today - very cold, but for the most part sunny.
We had a lucky escape last night, a chimney fire which got a bit out of hand; not what I needed right now or at anytime, but at least we and the pets are  safe and the house is still standing.
Thank goodness for a great local fire service in our community and good neighbours and friends - you know who you are :)
Tomorrows another day.....
