No thank you!

Another hot and sunny day, still in the 20s, but we are getting used to it!  More exploring today, more of the famous sights but also including the amazing Cerralbo Museum - a fascinating and wonderful collection of all sorts of furniture, china, paintings and everything else you can think of!  Well worth a visit!

Also went to see the Debod Temple.  If you'd told me this morning we would have seen a genuine Egyptian temple in Madrid, I would have thought it was an April fool joke, but there it was, looking quite at home in the blistering sun!

Delicious meal, typically at 2.30pm, of wonderful tasty local dishes.  Absolutely exhausted now, it's been another great day, but I don't know how long we'll be able to keep up this pace!!

Spotted this sign in Lavapies, a fascinating, very culturally diverse area, with lots of interesting sights and folk.
