Malcolm Robertson graduated in Sculpture at the Glasgow School of Art in the mid 1970's and following a brief career in teaching became known internationally for his work as Town artist in the thriving Scottish new town of Glenrothes.
He formed Town Art Studios in 1991 and has succesfully managed to create an extensive and varied portfolio of site specific sculpture and artwork in a wide varietyof materials in the UK, USA, Germany and India.
By working in partnership with fellow design professionals, City councils and local communities,Malcolm Robertson meets artistic challenges with inspiring and memorable solutions.
Robertson's Art is conceived from an holistic point of view, created in response to people and places,is eclectic in character and seeks to be sympathetic in scale and context.
