Layering Exercise

Exploration of different techniques can never hurt.
My goal here is to make my watercolors more
subtle by letting color stray in different parts of the
canvas and not only onto the objects for which
they were intended..Here I drew random fruits,
wet the entire surface area and began dropping
colors.  Then I walked away....That is key---not
manipulating colors, but let them do what may.
I do not know if this is a finished piece, but it is
different than how I normally paint, so I guess
I met my goal.
