Scottish National Portrait Gallery

One of the things I like very much at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery is that you can have a wee break and enjoy a seat beside some of the portraits. I do like the portrait of author Ian Rankin, and the family enjoying their seat there caught my eye.

Here's some info from the BBC Website about the website:

"The image of the Rebus creator was commissioned by friend and fellow author Alexander McCall Smith.
Edinburgh-based artist Guy Kinder painted the likeness after spending a day photographing Rankin."
