A Rainy Window This Time

Yesterday I took a picture from the same window, of a squirrel, today the picture is of a pheasant (we know him as The Vicar’s offspring, because of the white collar).  The weather today has been rather rainy, making it difficult to take decent photographs outside.

Earlier in this week, our builder enquired if his renderer could visit on Good Friday, to correct the faults and omissions in his previous work; we agree.  Today we have waited in all day for the said renderer to appear it is now 1700 hours and we think it most unlikely that he will arrive at all today!  I have been staining some of the new woodwork to match the old, prior to varnishing it and have found numerous dobs of silicone sealant stuck to the wood, making the staining very difficult.
