Bristol Rovers 5 Chester 1

Miserable afternoon stood on the open terraces in the pouring rain watching Chester get well and truly thumped at Bristol Rovers.

The journey down on the coach wasn't much fun either as we got stuck in bank holiday traffic and only arrived 20 minutes before kick off. Now stuck in traffic on the way back as we crawl through the suburbs of Bristol.

At least I got the chance to talk all things blip with Terrytog.

The one thing that made me smile today was this flag carried by some Chester fans. Last week, Wrexham, our closest rivals, lost in the FA Trophy final at Wembley to North Ferriby United. With 15 minutes to go they were leading 2-0 but eventually lost on penalties after extra time.
