Chestnut leaves

A day of pootling about. Took shoes to be reheeled, tried to pay in cheques at the bank (failed, bank closed and machine didn't work), bought two pairs of jeans for Iain, (took two pairs of too small jeans to charity bin), had half a lunch, interrupted by having to evacuate the shopping centre (upside, free half-lunch), bought expensive treats at Wholefoods, talked to a Californian lady who saw my Trader Joes bag and hoped there was one nearby (she was disappointed to hear I got it in California). Finally took Bella to the park and took lots of bad photos of emerging leaves.
Time for a G&T and dinner, I think,
