Port and Peppercorns

My brother and family came for lunch today, on their way to Devon - good to see them.

Then we all went to the afternoon Good Friday service at our church - a reflective service on Jesus' betrayal, trial and crucifixion - with hot cross buns afterwards.

I then had an hour in the Prayer Room, that my daughter prepared this time - it was SO creative, with eight different stations, reflecting the different aspects of making disciples that we're being taught at the moment.

Now we're waiting for the lads to come back from playing football, and J from work - when we're going to share a Passover meal, complete with roast lamb, greens, and flat bread; I've made baby figs in port and peppercorns for dessert... not sure Jesus and his disciples had port, but they would have had figs.
