Easter Saturday

It's been quite a day.
First we put on our best clothes and set off for Sydney to attend one of the years biggest day's racing. Got about halfway there and heard that the meeting has been postponed till Monday due to rain.
So we did a U-turn and returned to the farm.
Luckily the traffic wasn't as bad as yesterday's.

Down on the farm chaos reigned. 5 small children were running riot with one set of grandparents and two aunts.
Julia and I escaped to the creek which due to the rain was running across the road.
I showed her how to take slow water shots and she was quite interested.

Then back for dinner at the child friendly time of 5:30pm.
Graham had been given a bottle of Grange Hermitage ($500) for working 5 years at his company.
He very generously decided to share it with the family as it's probably the most expensive liquid which will ever pass our lips.
Very good it was too, although I doubt many bottles of Grange are consumed with BBQ'd chops and sausages at the kitchen table surrounded by 5 noisy children at 5:30pm.

Helen arrives this evening and we are going to play a murder mystery game, though I think some of the players have passed out already.
