Looking Down on Good Friend

11.8C and mostly cloudy with some bright spells. Light breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went through to Arbroath before 9am and had our walk round the harbour. The lock gate to the inner harbour was closed so we could walk round in a loop. There were two boats on the boatyard slipway but both were behind the shed when looking from the harbour wall, so no over the boatyard shots today.

The tide was so low that there was less than one metre of water in the outer harbour and the few boats that were there were mostly aground. I took the opportunity of looking down a long way to get a full length shot looking down on Good Friend. I was a little disappointed that Defiant wasn't there or it would have been the one I chose.

After lunch we went out for a two mile walk. Down the road to the shore road, but not down to the beach today then back home in a loop.
