Bright Invaders....

My car is off the road, after a rear end bump this morning. So after dealing with insurers, car hire, etc... I wandered around the garden this afternoon, enjoying the sunshine, and seeing what micro life is emerging with my macro lens.

A few flies and one tree bumble bee, with next door's cat wondering what I was up to was about the sum of it before the sun gave up. The lawn is quietly being invaded by Lesser Celandine which is rather lovely. I spent most of the time low to the ground trying to get a different viewpoint on these bright and breezy flowers. I couldn't see the spider which had made the tiny connecting thread across the petals?
