Had an early start - arrived in Rufforth at 8am for the Auto Jumble Fair - E has decided to build a motorbike from scratch :-(
He bought a - metal thing - don't ask me what, but it's a start and he seems very excited.
Deal was we went from there across to Scarborough on the East Yorkshire coast so I could see some of Tracey Savage's work. She paints humorous coastal scenes - funny and quirky and a little dark... nothing academically challenging - just fun... and nostalgic.
My first visit to the town - visual richness everywhere you point a camera.
We called in at Saltburn on the way home - where I like to drool over the tarps the fishermen protect the tractors with which haul their boats to the sea.
