Egg rolling at Easter

A challenge was issued! A competition was held to find the best decorated egg, and then a further competition was held to determine which egg would survive rolling down our steep hill.

This is the starting line as designed by the kids to ensure an equal chance to everyone.

We had a rather fun afternoon. The best decorated egg was a homage to Jackson Pollack, and curiously, the Monet look alike egg survived completely intact. Mine was utterly uninspiring and was mashed completely.
All of of us, including the kids, had attended our various churches, and it was a suitably joyous afternoon to finish off the Tridiuum!
