Easter Sunday....

Easter Sunday and the warmest day of the year so far in Manchester. the temperature gauge on my car said 19C. I know that may not excite people in warmer climes but it's a big deal in Manchester in April.

It's also sunny which is great. After lunch we went for a walk that took in a local business park. Doesn't sound wonderful except its one of those with beautiful landscaping that retained the wooded areas that were there before the buildings went up.

It's nice the see daffodils out on Easter Day and this host (is that the collective noun?) looked particularly good under the trees. They aren't the little native ones but the big showy ones we've developed for our gardens. Very welcome to see though.
