Today we have mostly been...

on top of the world.

We climbed Ben A'an today. It was quite a slog but we made it (and met my boss near the top - that was weird, but nice).

We met four young guys on their way up (they're the ones sitting on top of the rock) and each one had his bike on his shoulders as he scrambled to the top. Their mission was to cycle/hurtle all the way back down the mountain. Absolutely bonkers! They made it though. We saw them in the car park afterwards, all in one piece.

We then drove off and found a lovely spot for a bbq right next to Loch Drunkie. Loch Drunkie seemed to be full to bursting with frogs. The more I looked the more I saw. Youngest was going to name them all but only got as far as Jerry and realised there were better things to do. Like lie on the picnic rug in the sun while hubby cooked the burgers.

It was a very, very lovely day :-)
