Aldeburgh

In a departure from our normal seaside destination today we decided to go to Aldeburgh.  With only three people and one dog to mobilise, getting out of the door was much easier than usual.

The sun shone, the dog was crazy enthusiastic and the fish and chips, sat on a bench overlooking the beach, absolutely superb and deserving of their top class reputation.

Best of all it was time that Martin and I spent with our eldest child on his own.  No one can remember last time that happened, and I suspect it was nearly 17 years ago, before Ben was born.
