Life with Alice

Platform 9 3/4

Easter Sunday and we went to attend the Sung Eucharist at Westminster Abbey. We arrived early and got very good seats. It was very beautiful and festive. Kiwi and me particularly liked the little choir boys with their angelic voices and lacy collars. Kiwi, who can sing, sang, and I sort of hummed. Kodaly's Missa Brevis was performed. elirin was very happy.

We like to ride the double-decker buses, especially on the second floor in the front. This afternoon, we boarded line 10 to King's Cross Station. "Packed with muggles, of course." We went to find both the real platform 9 3/4, that is really between platforms four and five, and this prop one.

Then we went for a stroll along the river, together with a couple of thousand other people, from the Tower of London to the Millenium Bridge and St Paul's Cathedral.

As you can imagine, we were too exhausted to go out for dinner. Which was apparently Sunday roast with all the trimmings. We're hoping for a quiet day soon.
