It has been very difficult to decide which photo to use today.   I could have used one of the beautiful Easter Lilies at church this morning or of the eggs that the grandchildren decorated or the Easter tree that they made before hunting around for the Easter Bunny eggs in the garden. This afternoon the delightful NTS  garden at Inveresk was the venue for another Easter hunt and then we spent ages there enjoying the warm sunshine before watching toads being very active in the pond.
Then it was a trip to Portobello with the scooters along the promenade beside the flat calm azure blue sea.   It seemed like the height of summer with so many people and even a couple of brave people  in the sea, some playing beach volleyball and others waiting patiently in the queues for icecream.  Eyeryone seemed happy.  No wonder - even in July we don’t often have temperatures of 18C.
