A little open water, a little color!

We don't often get to see wood ducks on our lake.  But occasionally, as the ice starts to breakup around the edges, we get migrating visitors.  This year, 3 wood ducks are here.  Unfortunately, this was taken from a great distance, as they hid or flee if I even think about getting near the lake, but I was pleased to get a shot of this colorful bird regardless.
