Exploring

Woke to beautiful sunshine and it stayed that way all day. After porridge and local kippers set off south along the coast and stopped off at Arduaine Gardens to wander through the woods and grounds up to a beautiful viewpoint over the inner isles where we sat and basked in the sun and the quiet for half an hour-gorgeous!
Back, taking photos of lots of beautiful flowers (including the other worldly skunk lily and some beautiful magnolias and camellias) and blue sky, but I had to choose this one as I loved the moss and lichen and the atmosphere of it.
Further south, to Kilmartin Glen with its ancient standing stones and burial cairns-more photos! Fascinating and a lovely walk to explore them (3 days in a row at 10,000 steps!).
Tracked round to Lock Fyne and some amazing views all around which we enjoyed as we drove with the roof down!
Finished off with oysters and mussels before heading east and home. Lovely weekend
