Cruising

Milford Sound, one of New Zealand's tourist 'must-do' locations. We, as a group, did a one and three-quarter hour trip along and around Milford Sound, and although the weather was wet it was reasonably mild. Actually, most of the rain came when we were well on our way back to the berth. This area of NZ has, by far, the highest annual rainfall in the country, it being a coastal strip adjoining the Tasman Sea and on the Western side of the mountains, where most of the 'weather' comes from.
