My companion

I moaned about the weather a few days ago and it seemed to do the trick because today has been glorious. Most of the day has been spent doing gardening with this little chap as my constant companion. I have sown, potted on, cleared up last years dead stuff, pruned and dug up 2 trees that had self seeded in the wrong place. I should have mowed the lawn as well but I am hoping that can wait until tomorrow.
About 1/2 the frog spawn has become free swimming tadpoles now but sadly I have found 2 dead frogs and 3 which look as if they are on their way out. I don't know why :(
