Easter Monday Sandcastle Competition.

With another perfect day forecast we headed off early to Barafundle Bay, one of Wale's most glorious beaches. You can only get there by walking a good mile across the headlands and so this iconic golden beach is never crowded. In fact for the first half of the day, there were only four families there!

Activities for the day included a sandcastle building competition; Team Mummy versus Team Auntie Alison and Harry. Team Mummy was helped by a few Easter props that had been snuck in the rucksack. 
Judging - by the opposite team - awards marks for size, originality and detail. Team Mummy won! (The full castle structure featured a figure 8, with a second supporting castle and another two bunnies cosied up).
Chocolate eggs were then available to all who had taken part.
