Douglas Fir

At least I think it's a Douglas Fir, it's certainly one of the North American conifers, planted by the Forbes Family around the end of the 18th century in what is now Callender Park woodlands.  This particular specimen is next to the John Muir Way, hence the (rather unsuccessful) attempt at an Ansel Adams look.
