Glen Affric

I was spoilt for choice for shots today so here is a view looking up Glen Affric.

We walked all day in the Pinewoods along these tracks and it was lovely and dry and fairly warm, no coats. I saw lots of lovely trees and great landscapes but not much wildlife apart from a couple of stags.

In the evening the children made a campfire and we toasted marshmallows. Now this may sound idyllic but me coping with an eight year old burning everything in sight is not very good for the nerves.

A great first day to our stay here and now we are all very tired.
