The great outdoors

Set off (fairly!) early to North Berwick, and although we were a bit alarmed at driving through sea mist/fog it was gorgeous when we arrived. After coffee at Steampunk cafe -very nice- we wandered along the beaches putting the world to rights, planning the future and combing the sand for sea glass, tiny fragments of pottery and general treasure. Lots of people and dogs out enjoying the gorgeous weather, although very few ventured into the sea...this girl was loving racing around and doing cartwheels with her friends.
Pottered through the shops a bit then home, quick change and walked down to the New Town for a long overdue champagne afternoon tea (present to K and I over 2 yrs ago, unused!). Delicious! Walked back with some deviations and stopped off later in the evening at a place K had had recommended that did delicious steamed buns with pulled pork.
Finally home....21,846 steps (14.59km...record so far!).
