Spring and Easter in Birmingham

Re entering this as I realised that the blip I posted said the date was for 6th April.  So much for being artistic.  Stayed at my parents in Birmingham, and this is a tree (pear?) from my mum's garden.  She takes great pride in her garden and in the summer it is a magnificent array of colour from various flowers.  She is very lucky to have to same gardener for almost 30 years.

I mentioned my return home to find our poor cats locked out of the kitchen with no food, water or toilet so we were greeted with an unpleasant mess but felt so sorry for them.  They've forgiven us now as they are purring away again.
